New QUREX Gateway catalyst for growth in Queensland resources
The Queensland Exploration Council (QEC) is pleased to launch its flagship project, the Queensland Resources and Exploration Gateway (QUREX), a “one-stop-shop” for all things resources exploration and investment.
It is a collaboration with the Queensland Government that helps businesses discover the advantages of investing in Queensland’s thriving resources exploration industry and provides opportunities for future growth and prosperity.
The QUREX vision is to be a catalyst for development and growth in the Queensland resources sector by attracting and facilitating business investment in the resources exploration industry.
QEC Chair Brad John said the QUREX Gateway plays an important role in connecting investors with the resources sector.
“QUREX is a much-needed solution for investors looking to connect with not just industry, but the right people from government, industry associations and business partners, by providing helpful information like project and infrastructure maps, investment regulations and who to go to for support”, Mr John said.
“It brings together readily available and free information to the one intuitive website – information that from past feedback and first-hand experience can be difficult to find.
“It is made not just for investors but explorers too, by providing key information and many helpful lists of the who’s-who in our industry”, Mr John said.
The QUREX Gateway was established in 2017 by the Queensland Exploration Council and is supported by the Queensland Government, through the Department of Natural Resources & Mines (DNRM) and Trade & Investment Queensland (TIQ).
The QEC is a not-for-profit initiative of the Queensland Resources Council. It was launched in 2010 with the aim to have Queensland acknowledged as the minerals and energy exploration leader by 2020.
